My birth control pill, Yaz, helps with PMDD. It says it right on the commercial. I'm not sure if you are opposed to the pill or something but I like it. I have a 3 day period, NO cramps (I used to have awful horrible cramps), my skin is typically flawless (unusual for me). I still get PMS and get b*tchy. Buy hey, that's just me. hehehe.

My pill does help a lot. The only downside, with my insurance (crappy), the pill is $60 per month. Which is high but a lot cheaper than having a baby. (As my husband points out!). <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Kelli - Yaz is a pill that I think women with CF should take with caution. It is a diuretic and creates more sodium excretion plus higher levels of potassium. Perhaps your CF center has an opinion on these co-factors.

I can ask my dr. My stomach often hurts alot but lately its been way really extremely bad. sometimes i dont eat or move bc i cant the pain is to much, i talked to my mother about this bc she seems to show every symptom of it too. She pretty much knows she has it bc its not like regular periods. I didnt say anything but i said "i thought i was pregnant and this is what was going on, i had ..."told her all my symptoms and how i was feeling and she said "sounds like you have that PMDD thing like i have" must be something considering i never mentioned PMDD
