So I just got the oil of oregano yesterday and I want to know if you have used it, how you used it, how often you used it and how much did you take, and did you see any improvment?
The brand I got is called Joy of the Mountains it is a wild mediterrean oregano w/75%Caracrol+ & is made in British Columbia Canada
Thanks for all the help in advance

I've taken oil of oregano but I couldn't tell if it really made a
difference. Since it's expensive, I stopped taking it.  I do
hear that it is very good for a variety of aliments. It certainly
can't  hurt.<br>

Not entirely true. Like anything else there are side affects. People with history of hemotysis should be extra cautious & some have found extreme airway restriction/tightness, but yes many people have had positive results for the time they used it!

I tried using it at the beginning of the year and used 2-3 drops in my nebs startd off at once a day and went to twice. I personally didn't notice much of a difference at first. Then after a few weeks I noticed I wasn't AS short of breath, but about 2 weeks after that I started noticing I was wheezing and feeling tight in my chest. Since I have never had any noticeable wheezing and I was NOT sick at the time I contributed it to the OO. I stopped and the wheezing gradually went away. I still have moments where I wheeze and have gotten them quite regularly since taking the OO. They are not all the time as they were when I took the OO though, just if I am feeling more congested than usual.

According to some home pages I came across, the oregano oil is not necessarily supposed to be inhaled for bronchial related problems. However, for sinus infections, it is to be inhaled, but not with any skin contact..it may cause skin irritation or burning.
Sean Davis' (SD's) method was to nebulize (aerosol) it, but there was controversy in regards to lungs taking in oils, etc. that were not necessarily "absorbed" by the body.
I would suggest if the instructions with the oil does not give any description of use for bronchial related use, then inhaling it with a ratio of olive oil might be worth trying. However, I would caution the prolonged use of the product, as well as be aware of liver functions while using the oregano oil (Oreganum Vulgare), it may be a side effect that hasn't been noted yet.
