I think it should be no problem as well. Would you feel comfortable in case somebody walks in while you're doing the treatment? If not, give them a heads up just to avoid awkwardness.
Good luck!

I take my nebulizer to work everyday and do my Albuterol, HS, & Pulomozyme everyday at my desk. My time is limited in the morning with getting a 6 year old ready for school. I do wipe down my desk before my treatment. But I am lucky enough to have supportive co-workers that encourage me to do my treatments. I sit in an office with 2 other women that are very understanding. And don't seem to mind the meds in the air. I am very respectful to them, I almost always ask them before I start my treatment & I turn a fan on to air out our office after.
It would be easier to go to a different room/ office but it is nice to do my treatments at my desk & also do my work.

I do my Cayston in my car. And then I wash it when I get home because I have a few sets of nebs. I just do it on my break because it is almost always more than four hours after my first dose in the AM.

Its most definately ok. I suggest mentioning something to your supervisor though if you are going to do it someplace inside the building. I tend to do it in my car in the parking lot. If someone sees me doing it, they can ask me then too <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I have an older compressor (10yrs) and one just under a year. The noise seems to be the give away what I am doing. CPAP unts are so quiet and frankly more acceptable in every environment. It has a filter with small enough pores to keep unwanted viruses and bacteria out. With the correct medical coding, you can get a unit that is free or little cost. Adapting the CPAP unit for me was a direct fit. It is also typically programmable to idealize the airflow including some things that I love like air temperature, humidifier an airflow rate. If somebody is affected by certain nebulized meds, add an Environcare or as good but lower cost activated charcoal (A-C) equipped filter unit. I will look into a simple A-C origami gizmo for office or on the go. I have made half a dozen A-C devices, it isn't rocket science and it is effective.
