I recommend RES-Q 1250. It is the best omega 3 product on the market (in my opinion).</end quote></div>

I ordered something similar (pharmaceutical grade) but not from the same place.

I take Omegas, I've taken them for a long time. My mother always made our salad dressing with Flax seed/Borage oil-yummm......(J/K). But, I guess her ways rubbed off on me.
My doctor says-'yeah go right ahead' to me taking all the supplements that I do. She respects it. But most docs don't. You have to be very proactive in your own care, and as SeanDavis says-research and educate yourself.

Not sure if this has been disputed, but I thougth it was interesting. The study was done in 2003.

I've been having a lot of inflammatory related issues that are helped by ibuprofen and prednisone, but I realise I can't continue to take them because of their side effects.

Thought I would give some pharmaceutical grade epa and dha a try.</end quote></div>

No to discourage use of this, i take flax seed and DHA both, but what determines Pharmaceutical grade"? Supplements aren't regulated and therefore have no standard to determine what is pharmaceutical grade as opposed to regular fish oil. just a thought.

Chaggie,

Okay, it means by "pharm. grade" that it is processed under the same conditions required to produce prescription drugs. They meet European Pharm. Standards. They go into more detail on the website but that is quick summary of what they say.

It also depends on what brand you buy, what types of fish the oils are from, are they freshwater/saltwater....that affects the quality of the oil.
Alot of fish oils are-in my opinion-bad. Not produced well enough. Poor quality. They have high levels of metals in them. When it comes to fish oils I stick to a high quality brand-I use Barleans, and Health from the Sea. Its from fish that are only harvested for oil purposes, farm raised organic fish-not the left over oils from tuna for canning, for example.
There are good brands, you have to look into what the company says about where they get their fish from. Again, just my thoughts.

Right now I use Barlean's Flaxseed and Borage oils. I stopped fish oil now that I'm pregnant-just to be safe. I get my oil at a local health food store, it is about $25 per bottle.
It is Omega 3, 6 and 9/Gamma Linolenic all in one.
