My preg tests today were negative-completely. I'm hoping thats a good thing.

I am sorry that you have been on such a roller coaster and that your test results are now negative. ((HUGS))

I spotted during all my pregnancies (four), but #3 involved slow rising HCG, a low heart rate at 7 weeks, followed by no heartbeat at 9 weeks. Dragging out the hope/worry was no fun... During my fourth pregnancy--the worst for bleeding--I was told at 11 wks and at 21 wks that there was very little hope, but ended up with a full-term baby. My progesterone at 7 weeks for that one was dismal...like 9 or 11 or something like that.

I had the a similar experience with my daughter (now 18 mos.) I was told that this early on in a pregnancy it does matter what time of the day you take the test- and how much fluids you have consumed prior. The first morning urine should give you the most reliable result.
Also, I would ignore your OB. It is VERY important that you have early on pre-natal care since you have CF. I would consult a high-risk OB for the future.

Another side note: My CF doc told me that bleeding in pregnancy is more common in cf'ers also.

My test results came back earlier this week, but with everything going on here it was on the back burner. Anyway, all my levels are normal and I'm not (or no longer) pregnant.
The nurse said it was probably something called a blighted ovum. NOt a M/c, but something beginning, just didn' 'take.'
Hopefully I'll return to normal cycles soon.
Anywa thanks for the replies. Its so stressful when you know somethings going on in your body but you're not sure what.
