On Oxegyen

Damien got phenumonia and was in i.c.u with chest tube and was on the machine that makes you breeth.We went home on oxygen and 6 weeks later we are on more than we started with. Has anyone else had there baby on oxygen? Does anyone feel like sharing ? I have to say,Im starting to worry and want to know how many other children have needed oxygen and for how long?

WEll, Ry was on oxygen, but he wasn't a baby, so I don't think I can help...sorry<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">

Reece has been on o2 everytime he goes in for a "tune up". Never been on it when hes at home. What are his levels with & without the o2? What do his docs say, when he can come off? Usually in the hosptial hes on 02 til he gets up to 93 room air. His normal levels are between 93-95 room air when he is well. HTH
