Well we arrived in Hawaii today and the vest and all our meds made it intact. We drove to a store and purchased a microwave for sterilization and this evening discovered we forgot to bring the neb cups.

The only place I am used to getting them is at our cf clinic. Any suggestions???? Anyone live in Oahu and know where to get pari lc plus Or sprint or anything?????

Welcome and Aloha
My first question are you military? if you are then you can get that equipment for free through Tripler. If not then there is many medical supply company's here on island. There is one off the H1 in wiapahu. They supply the boys treatment stuff, tripler supplies the rest for us. Again welcome to Hawaii.

Some of us use disposible neb cups when we are on vacation. You can get these at any Durable Medical Equipment supply company. Use em and toss em. Then you can return the microwave and not be bothered with sterilization while you get your much needed vaca.

I never heard of disposable neb cups! We are not military so can't go to tripler. I will check the durable med supply though. Thanks so much! The idea of throwing them out is awesome - one less step!

The disposable neb cups are commonly known as the Acorn Nebulizers, they are pretty cheap and should only cost about $1.99, at least Conus, Hawaii might be more expensive. You can not boil them, they will melt. But you can wash them with hot soapy water to get you through a week.

Apria Healthcare in Pearl City - 808-485-0178

Pac Med in Honolulu - 808-537-1671

Promed Inc in Honolulu - 808-396-1316

We live on the BIg Island, but these are the number I found for Oahu..I am not sure if they provide nebulizer equipment, but I think Apria would be a good start.

Good Luck...have lots of fun!!!! The pearl harbor exhibit is lots of fun and the Honolulu zoo although small is fun and pretty cheap.
I have heard lot of good things about the Aquarium, but have yet to get there<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

blessings,
