YES Kelly! Man this is something I go through like once every 2-3 weeks or so...I am on this program to train for a 10k..I run like 3-5 miles 3 times a week, do cardio 3 more days and have Fridays off. But I'm tellin ya sometimes I get so tired I'll put on my work out clothes and my shoes and then just be like "heck no I'm not doin this today,I'm too exhausted!."
Like Tuesday I was supposed to run 3 miles..I got ready and I started and then just walked the whole thing because I couldn't exhurt the energy. And that was after like a cool 10 hours of sleep. I mean I am definately motivated, I work a ton, practice/play in my band, and I'm never home except to sleep because I'm working on anything possible.
The whole brain feels mushy is totally how I feel too, as well as my whole body just saying be cool!!
Liz I've been doing that crazy sleeping pattern too..I'll sleep for like 10-12 hours then feel tired..today I woke up at 6am after like 5hours of sleep to do a radio show and it was crazy..I felt better than if I get 10 hours. Whatever, it's crazy!
Good luck and stay motivated.

I lose energy everytime I have to fight with the MIL!! (Mother-in-Law for those who aren't familiar with the acronym)
I also think that in my case, it has to do with the change in seasons. We have a long, long heat wave in southern Japan, and I think once that is finally over, the nights are easier for sleeping. But, the cool air and sudden change to rainy days cause my legs to ache. Sometimes, after a busy day, I feel like a fever is coming on, too.
Sometimes, though, I force myself to do some activity, like practice my Iaido, because I actually feel better afterwards.
I noticed that sometimes I end up sleeping longer, or actually have to lay down for a cat-nap, and go to bed at the regular time, but that could also indicate an infection starting again.
Anyway, I can relate to your sit!

This aspect of my CF truly confuses my husband & daughter. I have no real explanations for them. We all have just come to realize that I never TRULY no from day to day what to expect.

My O2 levels are really good, 98-99% now, so it's not that. I was actually a little weary of this happening when I knew I was going to take a day or two off from working out, and sure enough that's when I started getting tired. Once I take a day off any type of exercising it's like my body knows what it's missing and crashes. I saw it coming but hoped my body would hang in there. Now it's been about 4 days and I'm ready to go again! I've been gearing up for my workout today since last night. I've got my running shoes on, big baggy shirt, hair tied back - let's see how it goes!

I'm going to try and do a little something every day and hope that helps, even if it's just a 5 minute fast walk or a few little leg lifts. I think our bodies should enjoying the exericise and eating it up. You'd think it would really like it since it makes us better in the long run.

Thanks for your repsonses. I guess I'm not alone on this one!
