Kit-This was our first time so I didn't tap the cup but I will. The dose comes in a pre-packaged plastic tube that I opened and squirted into the cup. After about ten minutes or so all the liquid was gone but there was condensation so we will tap the cup tomorrow.

I've been "tapping", too - though I'm not sure if I even need to! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0"> It takes Ellie about 8 - 10 mins...

Time sounds about right. Once it starts to sputter, we stop. You can tap, but really doesn't matter.

hahaha...We do the "tapping" also. After we were in the habit of tapping I heard that it may not be needed.

I can't remember where, but read that as soon as the neb starts to sputter...it is done. The dosing includes some medication that will stay in the neb, and as soon as the sputtering starts you taken the full "dose". Definitely ask your Dr. though.

We still tap, because it is habit. But when we are in a hurry to get out the door, the neb goes off when the sputtering starts!

Edited: Liza beat me to it...maybe I read it from her before!
