One nice hospital perk for my guy..

That is awesome. I remember after Alysa was diagnosed we were sent to the hospital in Vancouver and she got to meet the BC Lions and on the day she was getting "released" the Vancouver Canucks came.. she was sleeping though so I grabbed a few autographs for her.

It is so nice when the people the kids look up to come and take time out of their day to touch the lives of our little ones. It's amazing what 10 mins of their time will mean to our kids, esp. if they are sick in the hospital.

Your son must have been soooo excited!

What a nice thing to happen to you at the end of such a long stay! I was smiling through all the stories here of people who took the time out to give some cheer to people(kids and their families) who needed it. What a great thread! I hope you get out soon now!
