Oral thrush

Thanks everyone.
I'll start with mouthwash after my Tobi cos i don't do that.
I have had Nystatin before and it works but after a week it comes back.
What is Acidophilus Jennifer? It may be worth me giving that a shot.

I take Tobi constantly cos i can't fit it in with work doing a month on month off. I wonder if it might be worth trying to rearrange my schedule to do it properly just to give my mouth a break.

Do you take Advair? My son started Advair and immediately got thrush....we changed him to Symbicort and he has never gotten thrush again... the doc says it's because Symbicort is water based.

To answer your question of what is Acidophilus... that is a healthy bacteria that people often take to replenish what is killed by antibiotics... it is considered the "good bacteria" to have... it keeps things balanced so that yeast cannot take over and grow too much (yeast infection or thrush) The best Acidophilus is in a capsule and needs to be refrigerated.
