the best cure for thrush... Gentian Violet. you can get it from your oharmicist but it is over the counter. it will turn your mouth purple, but it works..

It was first used back in worls war 1 when the soldiers were comeing home with with stds. it was discovered that it will kill off any yeast infections wether it be of the mouth or other unmetionable ares. Every time my kids got thrush I gave it to them and its gone in a day or 2 if really bad. I have never tried it for the othere reasons, but it is said to get rid of vaginal yeast infections in a day as well, as long as you dn't mind a purple who who for a day <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I forgot to mention that when I give it to Brandon he always spits up a ton of mucus, i do know its not reccommended for daily usage.

Right after the transplants I was on a rinse to keep fungal infections out of my mouth. It was Nystatin and although it didn't taste the greatest, it helped because I didn't get thrush or anything. I think a Rx is needed for it though.
