Order of meds...

<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">Okay, my Zythromax and inhaled TOBI came today. I know to take the Zythromax Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

However, here are the questions I have...

In the morning I will be taking Albuterol, Hyper Sal, TOBI, Pulmozyme, and VEST.

In the evening, I will be taking the Albuterol, TOBI, Pulmozyme, and VEST. NO HYPER SAL!

1.) Which of these meds can be taken with the VEST?
2.) Which is the best order to take these meds?

Thanks for the suggestions. I will be starting TOBI tonight! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Adam does...xopenex....saline with vest...pulmozyme and tobi....the drs always say to do that one last.

he sometimes does the vest with his pulmozme as well but not with the tobi.

This is the order i was told by Denver National Jewish..

Morning routine :

1) Albuterol
2) Hypertonic Solution
3) Pulmocort
4) Advair 250/50
5) Inhaled Amikacin (abx)
I do vest w/ Albuterol & Hpertonic..

Evening routine:

1) Albuterol
2) Hypertonic
3) Pulmocort
4) Pulmozyme
5) Advair 250/50
Again vesting w/ the albuterol & hypertonic

I was also told to change the tubing on the compressors (i have a different compressor for the Amikacin) every 2 weeks , especially if there is any condensation ..
