orlando cf clinics

Hi, I will hopefully be traveling to orlando on vacation from the uk in 10 days. Despite having 3 weeks of iv antibotics my walking isn't too good & am going to take a wheelchair for the first time.

We have visited florida many times, but I thought this time I should check out the hospital situation just in case anything bad happens whilst I am out there & would prefer to go to a hospital that is used to cf.

We are staying in a villa just of the 192 in Kisimmee not too far from Old town, I believe there is a hospital at Celebration, I think that would be our nearest.

the doc out of orlando is Dr. Layish if you go onto the www.cff.org site and check out carecenters you can get the phone number for the Orlando center. I did talk to someone who has CF that sees Dr. Layish and he liked him alot and thought he got much better care from him then his old docs in Buffalo. Good Luck!
