I am actually at work today dressed as Willie Wonka. Going to a staff meeting in about an hour with a handful of "Wonka Bars". No one upstairs has seen me yet. This should be fun !!

Fred I would have loved to gone as a samurai! That is so cool. But I probably would have rather been Uma Thurman in Kill Bill I...Particulary in the scene in Japan when she is wearing the yellow motorcycle outfit. That movie is so cool. But I was pretty generic this year...Friday I was a pirate, Saturday I was a piece of gum stuck to the bottom of a shoe, and today I"m going to be spiderman (for my little cousins not by choice). What is everyone else dressed up as today?

*lol* Fred!

We spent the evening door knocking. Cale got the hang of it quite well. Then we came back to our house for a nice campfire with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and doritos. It was a very fun evening. We have way too much candy but that is to be expected! Glad I skipped work!!

We have had some of the most adorable little trickOtreaters in our area.... my friend from work surprised me and stopped by with her husband (my husband has never met him, although met her and thinks she is a great person) and now the two men are talking about going to the gym together, protein shakes, things they have in common (turns out my husband's grandparents and his parents both live on Lopez Island in washington-SMALL island, everyone knows everyone). NOt too sure what the point is but I guess it is, um, friends are acquired in the strangest most unexpected situations. Anyways their two litte ones were with her and they were so cute, I can't wait for my turn!

Her 16 month old daughter Leah was a cow with a tail that was stiff as a board-she was wacking it into everything. She wouldn't say hi, trick or treat, happy halloween or anything to me, but on the way out the door she said goodbye about 12 times-we were all laughing so hard.

And her other daughter, 3 month old Jaime was a cow as well but she was hotboxing it in her little suit. The two of them were so adorable though. Just had to share.

I saw costumes on little kids that I had worn when I was a child and man oh man do I miss those times on occasion.

any other stories????

I took Ahava trick or treating tonight. She was a little fairy, I took out a costume from a few years ago when I was Titania, so we could be themed together. She had a great time, I remember being that young and loving everything about Halloween.

All in all, not a bad night at all.

Well after much protest from my daughter & a renewal of props for a clown costume, I went to my daughters class party. I wore a sign that said "I LOST MY VOICE, CAN YOU HELP ME FIND IT?" which made for an interesting day. The idea was so the kids would not recognize me as quickly, but it turned out that it taught them different ways to communicate with me & had to concentrate. It was quite cool how the response I got was not what I was expecting. The entire school then went outside & grade by grade got to parade around in a circle to show their costumes. I went hand in hand with my daughters teacher & skipped around leading the class. I thought my daughter would be horrified, but she was amused althought she tried to act embarassed. As I left the school I found my voice, by the way. It was under the teacher's desk. Who would have thought? LOL We then went trick or treating, but skipped the parade downtown so we could get home in time to take over handing out the candy. We made it back just in time because my husband was ready to quite since we had so many kids come to the door. For a holiday that I find worthless, it was fun!
