OT Microwaving Kitchen Sponges

I've been doing this for years, but I never had any real hard proof that it actually killed everything. Thanks for this.

so i guess others saw the same article and looks like they tried to microwave their sponges with less than desired reults... LOL!!!

I just read an article about this. People were upset because the sponges were catching on fire and ruining their microwaves. What they forgot to do was wet the sponge first before microwaving it (lol).
