OT My daughter has caught the

Thank you for all the great ideas! Awesome! Maggie has read some Boxcar Children series, Magic Tree house series. We haven't done the American Girl yet. That's a good idea however, my daughter is somewhat of a tomboy(like her mom<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">) and will need a sporty American Girl.

<br>She's read all the Judy Blume books that are appropriate, Superfudge, Doublefudge etc.
<br>
<br>I'll need to take some of these lists to the library soon.
<br>
<br>It's so nice to NOT have the TV on while doing treatments.

I will be printing this out to use as Grandma's Christmas idea list for Isabelle. SHe is also 9 and goes through a book a day, too. She's read her way through many of the series here, but there's a lot left to devour! Try Maggie on the Kit books as her first American Gril series. Kit is a depression era girl who is a tomboy herself. Loves the Cincinati Reds and hates dresses and household chores. The stories are very well written - epsecially the mysteries.

I used to hate reading but I recently found I enjoy it much more these days though, I'm 20 years old now. ...This post is slightly old but I'll add anyways...

Trying to think of books no one has suggested yet:

I'm not sure what is age appropriate these days
R.L. Stine has tons of series. ---I know, that's kinda old though. My sister used to love Goosebumps.
I would say the Babysitters Club but I think that's so old they may not even sell it anymore, LOL
My cousin LOVED reading so I asked her and she suggests The Series of Unfortunate Events
