OT -- non-stop chatter

Not sure if it's an age thing or what, but for the past few weeks I've noticed that DS talks nonstop. Mentioned it to DH last night that the entire time I was helping to put together a lego helicopter that DS talked, chattered away with hardly stopping for a breath. It's EXHAUSTING!

'Course I should just be happy about it. I'm usually complaining that he never answers our questions.

On a side note, anyone else preparing for kindergarten?

Must be an age thing, my 5 year old talked nonstop too, especially in the car. Sometimes I would think he was talking just to hear himself.

YES!! I have a five year old about to start kindergarten in September and she talks NON-STOP! She has always been a talker, but lately, it is to the point that she interrupts us all the time. My husband and I can barely have a conversation over dinner without one interruption after another! And when we ask her what it is she has to say . . . sometimes she will say, "I just wanted to tell you that I love you" -- so how can I get mad at that? LOL

I'm glad she likes to talk, just wish we could overcome the tendency to interrupt!

Uuuugghh. I have TWO who chatter all the time! Constantly. There is NEVER quiet in my house unless it's after they go to bed or very early in the morning. It is exhausting, you are right about that! LOL

I know, I know, count our blessings...

We are not prepping Emily for Kindergarten yet this year, but she does start preschool. Is Max ready for Kindergarten? Are YOU ready for kindergarten?
