I found this yesterday, didn't realize it had already been written up. The article describes the myco that was discovered in Josh and Jesse and treatment. Our doctor is Cathy Sheils who worked closely with Ray Butler at the CDC. Thank God for them!

Its called <b>segniliparus rugosus</b> (means rugged).We were hoping they would name it after us- lol.

Wow Jane, that was really interesting. What a major thing the MAC is.....I pray it stays away from them forever. I am so glad they recovered and are doing well now. You must have just been worried sick.

I remember those days. Thanks for the link. I couldn't understand most of it, except the last part that they are better now.
It was amazing to me that the bugs were identified in Canada and you live in Mass.
I'm so grateful for the health care professionals who found a solution and now Josh is going to college!
It sounds like others won't have to endure all they did if it should rear its ugly head again! Jeanne
