Just keep in mind - every minute she has white blood cells going after the active infection (even though the cough isn't "all that bad"), those white blood cells are causing permanent lung damage.
saving antibiotics is good, but aggressive treatment to preserve lung function is also important to consider. you don't want to think a few years from now "wow, if only I had been more aggressive with treatment."
