Our visit with Melissa

So the day started out well enough, but was a bit disappointing.. Jeanne picked me up near Penn Station & we went to visit Melissa ..

Jeanne dropped me off to find parking.. I got up to Melissa's room & she was getting CPT so i waited in the hall waiting area.. I wish i could say Melissa looked great , but i've seen her looking better <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">

She had a headache (again) We looked at the pics of the Great Strides Walk, talked a little & it was time to go <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">

Jeanne & i then went for a great lunch and its always fun chatting w/ our Jeanne <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I wanted to get a vase for the flowers Jeanne & i got for Melissa but the closest i got was a purple plastic pitcher lol I went back up to Melissa's room , fixed the flowers in the pitcher, they actually looked so pretty in there hehe ..

Jeanne dropped me off at Penn Station & i was on my way home.. Sad that our time w/ Melissa was so short.. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">

I spoke w/ Melissa when i got home & Thank God her head stopped hurting.. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

She is anxious to feel better (dont blame you one bit Missy) Please keep our sweet Melissa in your thoughts & prayers..

Oh poor Mel, she's probably having headaches and looking a bit rough from the IV's, i know i look like death warmed up when on Tobra and Ceft, even when i'm starting to feel quite well again and the headaches are just awful!!!

Will pray she gets outta there very soon and starts feeling her best again <img src="i/expressions/rose.gif" border="0">

I'm so glad that you were able to see Mel... even if it was a short visit and she wasn't feeling her best. I'm sure that these visits are helping to boost her morale while she's stuck in there! I'm glad her head was feeling better by the time you talked to her last night.
