Outtie Bellybutton

Is having an outtie bellybutton a common thing with CF ?

usually innies and outties is really how they tied of the umbilical cord when you were born. any one can have an outie. my cousin with no cf has an outie...well here recently its become an innie.

I had an outie until about 8 years ago, when a surgeon noticed it & said that I had an "umbellical hernia" and after he repaired that, I had an innie. I remember being self consious about that when I was younger, but I've always had a pooch too, so my whole tummy area was something I pretty much kept hidden

i have an outtie and I HATE it everyone makes fun of it when i wear a belly shirt and since i have me belly button periced it looks funny

Mine's an innie! Very much so, in fact my sister used to say I didn't have a belly button I have a belly cavity! I think it just depends on how the doc ties off the cord.

I had an innie,(so says my mom) and I coughed it out around 2. People with outties have REAL belly "buttons". Others have belly holes. hahahaha
