Pain in rib cage/clavical - pulled muscles, colapsed lung , other?

If it feels better when you press on it, and you can breathe deeper when you do that, then chances are it is pleurisy. I had it last month, got the xray to make sure it wasn't a collapsed lung. My dr. told me to press on it, and that if it felt better it was most likely pleurisy. Not much you can do for it, other than taking pain medication.

CF is starting to be more present in my life on a daily basis, and most of this stuff is new to me.

I'm glad the site is here for us to bounce this stuff off one another!

Laurabay: I'm looking into getting an rx for massage therapy, I definatly am at the point that I need it! My muscles are always sore.

Awesome! I'm not sure where you are, but if you are in the states, make sure that your therapist has a minimum of 2000-2200 hours of training. It varies from place to place, but that should be a minimum. Enjoy it!
