My doula just went to the Birth the Bradley way class a couple of months ago she said it was amazing!</end quote></div>

it was a wonderful class and wonderful way to give birth. i didn't have an 'easy' birth-i was in labor for 20 hours, and had an 8 lb baby (so it wasn't one of those 20 mins births!)-but I still look back on that birth with happiness-and giving birth (pain and all) was the best experience of my life.
if i get preg again i'll use the same method. i've assisted in coaching 4 bradley births.
in a word, its an empowering method. i was very insecure about preg and birth bc of living with cf and its limitations. bradley worked for me bc it made me believe that i could do it.

I think that is key! Whatever birth method you chose or fall into, the key is believing in yourself! I never once questioned my decisions regarding my daughters birth and just knew I could do it. I read as much as I could get my hands on and said positive affirmations to myself. Women have been giving birth forever and we have kind of forgotten that. Instead we fear it. Getting over the fear and insecurity is what will set you free <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

And for the record, I did not read the bradley book or go to a class but from everything I have heard, it is a great method! Not just about childbirth but about nutrition and everything else.
