Pancrease sufficient vs. not....?

Well, I'm PS and have never taken an enzyme. I've always fought my weight, except when I'm sick, I lose lbs pretty fast so I'm always glad I have a cushion. My doc says that it could change in a heartbeat though and I could very easily need enzymes in the future.

But on the other hand I became CFRD 24 years ago too, which totally doesn't make sense. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0">

I'm pancreatic sufficient and am now age 43. I never had significant lung problems till I hit about age 17. Then it was chronic bronchitis along with periodic mild hemoptysis. My lung functions are still excellent (since I started being a more "compliant" patient they are above 100%). I've only had pancreatic issues (pancreatitis) involved with antibiotics. Now I have to be careful about what I take...just started aerosol tobi last month which seemed to work wonders (I'm very limited with oral meds due to sensitivities & allergies).
