I had pancreatitis once over 20 years ago, and have not had again since, thank god. It is one of the most painful experiences I've ever had, rates up there with childbirth. I felt like I had a 10" knife in my gut for a week, accompanied by fever, chills, and extreme nausea. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">
I was dx CFRD about 3 months after that episode, so I'm sure they were connected. I've read that other than alcoholics, pancreatitis is most common in CF patients.
Anyone else ever had this evil beast?
