We immediately put them in a basket in the dishwasher after they are used. The dishwasher is run with the extra hot water cycle. Then at the start of the dry cycle, we shake the basket to get as much of the water out as possible and then allow the dry cycle to finish. After the dish washer is complete, we take the basket out, let them air dry until they are completely dry (not very long) then put them in large medicine bottles with lids. This keeps them sealed and clean until we're ready to use them again.

Star is actually a little faster than the Plus, generally speaking. This varies depending on rate of respiration but the smaller the particle, the faster you're going to be able to breathe it all in. Also why the eflow has such fast delivery. Star and Plus don't have much difference and they can both be used with the same meds, according to my very competent adult doctor. People with advanced lung disease (like myself) may find the Star a little easier or more effective.
