Hopefully I'll have one arm and <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">leg left after paying for the stove and installation <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"></end quote></div>

Save a limb for the actual pellets LOL!

Good Luck

When I was a teen and lived with a friend and her parents for 7 months, they had a coal pellet stove and that is totally how they heated their house. It did not bother me at all. I think that is the much better way to go! And I also hope that you save some limbs....you need to take care of those kids and you will need at least one arm to put the pellets into the stove! LOL

Just a word of caution about the pellets themselves (non CF related) .... they are usually sold in 40lb bags. I did injure my back pretty good one time while unloading them, it was the rare occasion when I picked up some bags at the store and had them in my car - it was the bending, twisting and lifting all at the same time with 40 lbs that did it. Any other time I didn't have a problem with just carrying them into the house and dumping them into the stove. So I guess that is one thing to consider....who is going to be in charge of keeping the pellet stove stocked with pellets? We did go through several bags a week.
