Look, it's fine that you think I'm faking. whatever, how about you tell me how to get Medical help? That's all I need. I am not lying, I have tried to log into my account but it won't let me in. I haven't worked in six months, and for your info I didn't put the site together, it was done for me by someone who knows me who thought it might help. I think you're misssing parts of my story. I was never sick until this year. I never thought CF would catch up with me. So now, I'm trying to figure out how to get help and I don't know how. Every time I get enough money together it's to go to some shitty low income clinic where they don't know Jack about cf. So please if you really think I am full of *****, ask for my phone number and I'll tell you all you want to know.

Maybe you can check into this program. We currently have good insurance, so I have not looked into it for my daughter (she is not 21 anyway). I believe someone else on this site (don't remember who) uses this program has said that it is good coverage for CF. Good luck in finding a way to get good medical care.

You ought not to talk to peoplelike that, who are trying to help you, or you will find you are not welcome here and you will not get the assistance you are looking for from people who are most suited and equiped to help you find what you need.

Um, Julie I think he was talking to all the people on this thread that said he indeed was faking. The whole not welcome thing isn't true anyway. How many people just ripped this guy to threads and they are welcome here. This guy was just standing up for himself, which he has a huge right to do. I think what we need to do is apologize for saying all that we said. I for one am sorry that I ever thought you were faking it, it was totally unfair of me.

Okay...so I called the doctors office listed on the letterhead. Spoke with a nice woman who said that Jason Coverton was indeed a patient there when he was a child. I asked if he was treated for Cystic Fibrosis there, and if so, why was he not seen at a CF Clinic instead. She stated that he had also been seen at UCSF pediatric CF Clinic.
Jason...I watched you video and I am not questioning that you have CF. What I am questioning is what exactly you are asking money for??? There are alot of options out there. Make an appointment at your local Social Security Office. It usually only takes a couple of days. If you are that destitute and needing care, the State of California has a program that grants emergency medical provision to see Doctors.
Also...contact your local CF clinic...they might just surpise you and see you without any insurance the first time. And most clinics have a Social Worker on staff that deals with this kind of thing.
