Thanks everyone!

Miles has become a pretty infrequent pooper, only 3 times in the past week, which doesn't seem to fit at all and makes me think of celiac more than CF.

I know I shouldn't hyperanalyze things at this point, but I'm having trouble finding other ways to pass the time while we wait.

I met with our new pediatrician today and she seems committed to really digging to find some answers to what's going on with my baby boy.

Hi - my name is Sue and my husband and I are fosterparents. Two weeks ago, we were called to take a little girl (6 mo old) because if concerns of non-complience with the mom at home. She is on 02 (1/2 L) 24/7, has a terrible persistant cough (dry hacky cough, is dx with FTT, weights about 10 lbs, has been hospitalized 4 times since birth for pneumonia, has respirations of about 60, HR 155-175, is a poor eater and has "liquidy" stools.
They have dx her with pulmonary hypoplasia but just wondering about the possibility of CF? We were told that they did a "test" for CF awhile back, but not sure what it was and it wasnt conclusive. She is going to have a sweat test this next week, but just wondered if anyone could tell us how accurate they are?
She seems to be pretty fragile, and will turn blue with just minimal handling.
Also she is developmentally delayed. She cant sit, doesnt hold up her head, doesnt roll, .....more like a 2 mo old.
Any suggestions, thoughts would be so appreciated!
thanks
Sue

My daughter did not show any symptoms of CF until about 12 mos. of age. So of course it took until 17 mos. of age to get a doctor to test her for CF.

Symptoms vary and I have heard from many people that symptoms don't tend to show until 1-3 yrs of age.

Good luck and take care.
