Hmmm I wish I knew... I'll see if I can figure it out somehow -- it was just prior to her CF diagnosis and we were seeing an infectious disease specialist, not a CF doc -- I remember he said he was going to give her a combination of two different antibiotics.

Ok, I asked my daughter and she remembers it being Cipro and something that started with "R". I also know that it would not have been a sulfa drug because she cannot have those.

Hi yes you are talking about Rifampin........Its very good to clear up staph infection along with augmentin.
