Picc line back up

Hello everyone I need some advice or something!! I have a picc line right now and it has backed up or something and I can see blood in the picc line does this sometimes happen? And is it something to freak out about. Please help me!

I had that happen once to me. Just flushed it with Heprin and Saline. Call your at home nurse.. it's no big deal, but call them to be sure.

Usually means you didn't clamp it off. Unless you have one of those fancy ones that are supposed to self clamp. Just flush it, as suggested above.
