PiCC site healing

Like everyone said all of that is normal. It will probably also be sensitive for awhile even after the hole is healed.

I have one old PICC line on my left arm that when it gets hit I can still feel it.

I had the same problem when my PICC was pulled. I went to CVS and bought a piece of Waterproof Tegaderm. The package said the dressing promoted feeling for puncture wounds. I left the dressing on for three days. My hole healed right up. I just have five dots on my arm. My PICC was removed at the end of September.

I have one small reddish dot- and two small white dots. I guess they just healed differently, but are not noticeable to anyone but me.

I usually keep it covered for a week or so with neosporin and a band-aid. I think it helps it heal better and scar less.
