I was trying to figure out how to send this to Leah, but this is all I could figure out. Our kiddos are about the same age and wore almost the same outfit to the first day of school. They both also have blonde curly hair.
I talk to Sullivan a lot about Reece and Garran and Austin since they are all about his age. He swam last weekend in a LapsforCF.org swim event to raise money. He practiced for 6 weeks (he is not a strong swimmer). There were times when he told me he couldn't do it because his lungs were about to come out of his chest!! He would rest and then kept going and he did great at the event (he only swam one lap.) What kept him motivated was that he knew he was doing this for other kids like him...like Reece, Garran and Austin. Although he has never met them, he wants so badly to help all kids with CF.
