There are two ways to do it. If you want to post a little photo to show up above your screen name to the left of all your posts, go to Profile (on one of the taskbars toward the top of the page), and scroll down to 'Miscellaneous Options.' You can upload a photo off your computer (NOT from an online source.) At 'Upload your own author icon' click 'browse' and from there you can find the photo you want to use on your computer. You can use a photo that is up to 120x120 pixels (and in .jpg or .gif format.)

If you want a photo to show up in your signature at the bottom of all your posts, this will come from an online source. It's easiest to sign up for a free account somewhere like Photobucket. Photobucket will give you 4 different links to use for your photos; copy the Image link and paste it into the 'Signature' box (also in the Misc Options area of Profile.) You can go into the editing feature on Photobucket to resize your photo to what you want. Each 100 pixels = about one inch.
