Does any have one? We are going to try and get me one through my insurance and I was curious for those that have one if you did it that way or just bought one offline?
What kind do you have?
I have had a few in the past. I am not sure how reliable they are. At one point, I thought something was wrong cuz my PIKO reading was down and I had my PFT's checked and they were really good. So for me it causes unneeded worry and obsessive concern all the time. I didn't like having something at home that allowed me to check my PFT's that was not 100% reliable cuz when it is not working it causes you to fret for no reason. That is just me though.

I got mine through my insurance and like having it. I don't use it a lot, but it's rather handy to get at least a general idea of how I'm doing.
Mine is a Ferraris.
I had a PIKO and loved it. I took it with me every time i had a PFT and it always showed accurate. Plus, it was cheap (to me at least) so we didn't bother going through insurance. I now have a different spirometer which was recommended by the Cleveland Clinic post-transplant. It wasn't covered by insurance though.
