Please help me..I need relief

This last feb was my 24th embolization and I have had a lobectomy too. So I know what hemo is like. We have to walk a thin line when it comes to what we take for pain and inflamation. I have not ever found anything that helps. Every once in awhile when pain gets tough I take aleve although it has blood thinning properties but it helps alot. Hemo is so hard to deal with and its been about 13 yrs for me and many tranfusions later still no answers. But I know what started it for sure...pulmozyme and tobi. They started my first bout and many more before i finally convinced my drs that those meds were the culprit. But now there is perm damage.
<br />Also my menstral period seems to be linked to it now.
<br />Sorry about my ramble but this is so close to my heart and hate to see others affected so horribly by it.

Hi, I suffer from inflammation too....really bad. cant breath either. Ok, I tried the fizzy NAC and I have to admit that it really does work. You can search it on this website. I take 2 tablets each day a few hours apart. The other thing I do is 2 puffs 2X a day of Symbicort. It is an inhaler and it def works. I neb xopenex too. i just tried prendisone and I really did not like the side effects.

Oh wow, thanks for sharing that, Khristina. I'm sorry to hear you've been through so much. I'm also sure the Pulmozyme and Tobi caused my lung damage years ago. It took me a while to convince the doctors it was true. I used to take the fizzy NAC too for a few years. I use to get haemoptysis before i started on Vitamin k, now hardly ever.

yo my man it sounds like u need to stay in the hospital for a tune up for about 2 weeks till they can stop that blood, ya problem is probably u coughin to hard and your lungs can only stand for so long until u start to tear the inner wall of your lungs, they as thin as tissue paper and you coughin so hard is not helpin so try totone down the coughin and singulair will not help it, or tobi, or any antibiotic thats inhalled. Just take your neb as doctor ordered 4 times a day and your chest pt 4 times a day
