Why don't you post this in the family section or adults and you'll get a lot more responses. My son wasn't diagnosed until he was six so I couldn't tell you. I know that she sounds like she's not responding very well, but you should ask Mom's that have been through it when there kiddos were young. Good luck.

Both of my kids had pneumonia as infants. They were around 3 or 4 months old. It is hard to get the diagnosis and then face pneumonia so quickly. My daughter is now 6 and has not had pneumonia again. My son is 4 and he got pneumonia for the 2nd time last month. So I am thankful they were healthy for a number of yrs after the initial pneumonia. My son is still coughing weeks after stopping the iv's. It is confusing to me too. I am learning that pneumonia in cfers can take a while to clear.

This is just a side note and I wish I knew when my daughter was an infant - you know and care more for your daughter than anyone else. If you are concerned about something make sure it happens. An example - if you think your daughter needs to be seen at the clinic ASAP and they won't return your calls, go up there and wait until a dr can see you. Just be proactive like you are being. Hope your sweet girl feels better soon.

Thank you all. We are doing much better today. We went to the doctor and she said she sounded clear. We are continuing on the antiiotics, but now she's sneezing and rubbing her eyes probably allergies, it seems like it started happening after all the rain. We go back again next week. Hopefully we will be headed uphill for a while
