Ah this so made my day to hear you are out of the hospital and on a road to recovery. How was the fungus ball found? I culture aspergillus which can sometimes take over an area of the lungs and create a ball. I thoguht this was pretty rare with cf though. Keep us posted and thanks for the good news!

The ( suspected) fungus ball was found on the cat scan. The doctor told me i have 2 cavities in my left lung( which seems to be the bleeder lung) and one of them has a what looks like a fungus ball and she started me on Itraconozole while we wait for the sputum culture to come back and confirm it.
