I am SO, SO SORRY that you have to wait. It totally sucks - we went through something very similar. This is one of those times where I just wish I could make some calls and get the stinkin' answer for you!!!!

BTW, our pediatrician, upon learning of our diagnosis, said, "Well she's the healthiest CF kid I've ever seen". Whatever - is that supposed to make me feel better???

I Hope and Pray that you find the answers you need, CF or not. Now go away and don't worry, read this forum, or any other stuff about CF, because it might drive you a little berserk. Its too late for me but save yourself!!

Dana, I know it's no help... and of all times for your doctor to say that, that was probably not the best. However, two things... One: Your doctor was more than likely just trying to make you feel better. Two: Having a healthy CF kid, while yes, they still have CF (and it sucks), is good. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I called the Lab at Children's Hospital to see if they would tell me which they wouldn't. While I was on the phone with them the nurse called and said she hasn't been able to get anyone who knows what she is talking about. I told her I had the lab on the phone and they said the test was done but couldn't tell me anything. I gave them her fax number and he was suppose to get one of his supervisors to fax the results over to the doctor. My god this is driving me insane.

Oh i know how dehibilitating it is to wait like this. I'm glad you are pushing for answers! It is very confusing as to why they cannot give you the results when the test takes only a couple of hours to complete. Best of luck. I will be hoping for a negative. Please let us know the results!

The nurse just called it was normal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
