Pleuredesis side effects?

H guys. I was wondering if any of you have had a Pleuredesis procedure. My son recently had one, and unfortunately struggles with communication. He keeps saying when he breathes it feels like when you rub your hand over a balloon. He says he can feel his lung. I've tried asking him questions but have only gotten it doesn't hurt but he hates the feeling. Any idea? Thank you so much jshet22
