Hello,
This is the end of the second day with a sharp pain on the right side of my lungs, like a knife when I breath in. I'm wondering if this is pleuritis, an inflammation of the lining. Yesterday I woke up with this feeling and it hasn't gone away. This morning I had a fever of 100.6. Tonight I don't have a fever but I feel crummy and the pain is deffinitely still there. The day before yesyerday I did some light wood sanding and staining with polyurethane BUT of course wore a filter mask for paint fumes. I don't think it worked or possibly the filters weren't on tight enough. I don't know. So do you wait it out and gets lots of sleep, or do you need to get treated right away?
What do you do when you have pleuritis? I read a few other's posts about it, but I just wanted to post here and see. I feel too crummy to search any more but am worried about what I should do.
And is there a difference b/n pleuritis and pleurisy? Doesn't seem to be different when I look them up, but I'm not sure.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
