im 17 and i was diagnosed when i was 18 months old. i've been in WAY too many times. I go in 3-5 times a year and its like clock work.

I was never hospitalized until age 10, since then about 13-15 times.

At birth for muconium illeius (spelling), then maybe 7 months old b/c reconnecting surgery from colostomy bag. (2)

Then at 7 (second grade) for two weeks due to scar tissue bowel obstruction during thanksgiving.(1)

then I was good until 19 (in 2006) for a week in a half, first "tune up" over christmas. (1)

Two weeks in 2007, age 20, during halloween for scar tissue "kink" bowel obstruction. (1)

May 2008, age 20, for partial small bowel obstruction/tune up for one week. (1)

May 2009, age 21, for tune up, after dx'd with b. cep for one week. (1)

September/October 2009, age 22, for tune up, two weeks. (1)

So 8 for a 22 year old but essentially 90% were with in the last three years. Also to cut down on hospitalizations I do a lot of home IVs, which I did start before doing official hospital tune ups (mostly to prevent germs)
