No, he didn't tell me (the nurse), then when I called back, they said to make up a list of questions to have the doctor answer when she came back from vacation July 1st.
But the nurse said " I can rule out CF, but they found polymorphisms". And like I said, he just told me he has no idea what they are, and he said he cannot even explain them. Some people here were kind enough to explain it, and one attached a link to steve keiles forum where it seems he touched upon it. The test was done by Quest Diagnostics.

Have you spoken to Dr. Goldfarb at CHoP? If not, I'd ask for him or even demand to speak to him until they get him on the line. Tell him the "hot tub guy" recommended you speak to him because you're not getting the answers you want from anyone else there. He has a way of explaining this stuff that makes it much clearer and I have no doubt he'll know exactly what a ploymorphism is.

Have you spoken to Dr. Goldfarb at CHoP? If not, I'd ask for him or even demand to speak to him until they get him on the line. Tell him the "hot tub guy" recommended you speak to him because you're not getting the answers you want from anyone else there. He has a way of explaining this stuff that makes it much clearer and I have no doubt he'll know exactly what a ploymorphism is.

Without the help of this board, the old me would have just said, okay, thanks, and never question the results. It is because I hopped online and joined this forum, I now know to dig deeper and keep questioning.
