Pool and Swim Diapers

My son wasn't diagnosed until almost 4 so we always had really loose poops. I knew the swim diaper wouldn't hold it in so I always took him swimming right after he went (he pooped 4-6 times a day until he started enzymes). I was so scared that he would go in the pool. I told him every time that we swam how important it was that he told me when he needed to poop and not go in the pool. He learned really young (he would have been 18-21 months that summer)to get out of the pool before he pooped in his diaper. He would get out, stand there and poop in his diaper and then I would change him and he would get back in.
