Becki, I am so appreciative of your kindness in sharing your experience. What you described was very similar to what the doctors told us to expect (with the addition of anesthesia). Even they weren't planning to have the embolization take as long as it did. Please don't apologize that our experience was different from what you described. As with any procedure or treatment my boys need I tried to prepare by learning as much as I can by asking for advice from those who have experience. I am so fortunate to have members of this site as a resource.

Jane, My experience was much like Josh's. I had severe pain. I did not however get any pain killer but on reflection not sure why I didn't. It lasted for a few days the only when I either exhaled deeply or inhaled deeply can't remember. It sort of blurry in my mind intermixed with memories of pluresy pain. I used to get plural pain often but since BAE I don't get it anymore! I hope Josh's is as successful as mine has been.
