Potty training and the vest

when my son was potty training he would actually sit on a potty chair during his treatment instead of the couch/chair. He actually liked it that way so that he wasn't stressed out about it.

good luck. my son has significant speech/language delays and it does make everything harder!

We are lucky that Tess potty trained very early, she was sitting on the toilet and pooping at 18 months, but, she often puts her vest on pause to go to the bathroom, sometimes to pee and other times for the full 15 minute sit down !

She is turning 3 in May and hooks herself up to the vest, she is happy to go to the bathroom with the vest part on unless she is looking to delay coming back to get hooked up and then we have to take the vest off for her to go to the bathroom.

I have always thought that it was because they tend to have such large bowel movements that with the shaking and pressure that sometimes everything gets moving along a little quicker. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
