Prayers and/or good thoughts needed

It is never far from my mind that this disease still kills 1/2 of all children before the age of 25 or 26. I will keep her and her family in my prayers, thinking of my own little kaylee all the while . . . (I have a myspace, and when I went to create a sign in name, I was told that kayleesgrandma was taken. So I am kayleesgrandma1. I wonder if the other kayleesgrandma is this little kayleesgrandma.)

Just to add a bit to this story...this little girls last name is the same as my maiden name. It's not a common name. Her family is from the same general area of the country as my dad's family. Her father knows very little about his extended family, and my grandpa died a long time ago, so little is really known about ours. And this little girl has the same gene mutation that I carry, although a common gene mutation. Her mom and I joked about possibly being long lost cousins...who knows! I some day would love to do a little family history and see where it might lead me.

That was about september/october 2005, her name is Kayley and she is about that age i think.. I know she can't be it, cause she lives in England, but still i thought of her right away..
