I would work really hard on getting your lung function up some. Compliance & dedication are essential. 42% isnt very high considering what affects a pregnancy can have on a CFers body. Even the best pregnancy like what I had still leaves you with the after care of the child and your health. It will take its toll even with the best of support system. As far as your husband being in the service.....it is something to consider. My best friend from high school (no CF) is pregnant & worried to death her hubby will be deployed before the baby is born. Its a risk they were willing to take. It also took her 18 months to get pregnant and she had no CF. Just older (38) & on birth control pills for years..........Do the best you can with your health and the rest you play by ear!
