HI! I would just like to say that you CAN get pregnant, but YOUR health status makes a huge difference! One study that I know about is based on Guaifesin (mucolytic - OTC). Women who take 200 mg of Guafiesin three times a day from three to six months usually end up pregnant! Just wanted you all to know about this study! Good Luck!

The last post is NOT true. CF does not skip a generation....it just depends on if the partners are carriers. For a person to have CF....both of his/her parents MUST be a carrier. If a person w/CF has a child with a partner that is a carrier....there is a chance that the child will have CF. There is a 1 in 4 chance for each pregnancy that a child with 2 carrier parents ...will have CF. There is a 1 in 4 chance that the child will not have CF NOR be a carrier. There is a 50% chance that the child will be a carrier.Dea
